Peter Lesnik began his career in the financial industry in 2004 at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network with a firm commitment to the understanding that the basic principles of financial planning begins in areas that protect and build a foundation for success. From there, he then spent seven years with JPMorgan Wealth Management working directly with clients on the relationships between budgeting and setting goals towards financial independence.
Pete is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), which is an investor advocacy group, holding anyone calling themselves a Financial Planner to a specific fiduciary standard. Since 2008, Pete has supported the growing needs of families in his local community in search of clarity and direction in the planning process. He has helped support that need by volunteering time to Financial Peace University, a program at his local church in St. Charles. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations through LPL Financial and the FINRA Series 65 registration through HighPoint Advisor Group, and in keeping his dedication towards ongoing education, he is working towards his CFP® as well.
He and his wife and three children live in Elburn, enjoy international mission trips, taking domestic vacations and exploring different cultures and history from around the world. In his spare time, Pete enjoys days in Lake Geneva, walking his dog and reading. Physical discipline and mental health are very important to him; he has competed in two Chicago marathons, and continues to work towards better health.
